Terms of Service
Last updated: June 4, 2026
These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Dinox, including the Dinox apps, website, cloud sync, AI features, APIs, and integrations such as the Dinox app for ChatGPT.
By using Dinox, you agree to these terms. If you use Dinox on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
1. Dinox service
Dinox is a personal knowledge base and AI note-taking product. It helps users create, organize, search, sync, and retrieve notes across supported devices and integrations.
We may update, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when needed for security, reliability, legal compliance, or product changes.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that happens through your account. You must provide accurate account information and should notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not share credentials, bypass access controls, or use another person's account without permission.
3. Your content
Your notes and files belong to you. You give Dinox permission to host, store, process, transmit, display, and back up your content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
You are responsible for the content you create, upload, sync, or submit through Dinox. You must have the rights needed to use that content.
4. AI features
Dinox may provide AI-powered features such as search assistance, summarization, writing support, transcription, and prompt-based workflows.
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it, publishing it, or using it in important decisions.
You may not use Dinox AI features to generate, store, or distribute illegal, harmful, abusive, infringing, or deceptive content.
5. ChatGPT and integrations
If you connect Dinox to ChatGPT or another third-party service, you authorize Dinox and that service to exchange the information needed to complete the actions you request.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You can stop using an integration at any time and should revoke access if you no longer trust or need it.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Some Dinox features may require a paid plan, subscription, or one-time purchase. Prices, renewal terms, trial availability, and cancellation methods are shown before purchase or by the relevant app store or payment provider.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Refunds for app store purchases are usually handled by the app store. See our refund policy for more information.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or violate another person's rights.
- Upload malware, spam, or harmful content.
- Attack, overload, scrape, or disrupt Dinox systems.
- Reverse engineer, bypass limits, or abuse APIs.
- Use Dinox to harass, impersonate, deceive, or exploit others.
- Interfere with security, authentication, billing, or access controls.
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if we believe these rules are being violated.
8. Intellectual property
Dinox, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and service infrastructure, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
These terms do not transfer ownership of Dinox or your content. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer Dinox except as allowed by law or by written permission.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data. By using Dinox, you also agree to the data practices described there.
Read the Privacy Policy: https://dinox.info/guides/service/privacy
10. Service availability
We work to keep Dinox reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Maintenance, outages, third-party failures, and network issues may affect availability.
11. Disclaimers
Dinox is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that Dinox will meet every need, preserve every file in every situation, or produce accurate AI results.
You should keep independent backups of important content.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dinox will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Termination
You may stop using Dinox at any time. You may also request account deletion.
We may suspend or terminate access if required by law, if the service is discontinued, if payment fails, or if you violate these terms or create risk for Dinox, users, or third parties.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app, website, email, or another reasonable channel. Continued use of Dinox after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
